me and my friends originally came here for a school project where we had to interview them on the topic of Tharid. the place itself look very lively the atmosphere is very rich and the way they decorate the place makes you feel like you're in a different country. the service was a 10/10 with how welcoming they are, just like what Hamza (a staff there) said, "we come from different countries but we work here as a family. everyone tease each other and work together." they really are friendly. even though they had a big reservation coming they still took some time to help us with our interview. the baklava was not too sweet it was just right. they gave us the baklava on the house and i would honestly come back here again to eat their food as a customer :)) ~ adilahh
The food is good and the portions are pretty big. The price are reasonable and the staff is really friendly. The hummus chicken was delicious. I totally recommend if you’re craving Turkish food. ~ sarah l
Made a booking through the cappadocia website the day before and one Ramzi called an hour before to confirm which is a nice gesture and he somehow knew we were the ones that made the reservation when we came at 12noon. Ramzi was prompt, very attentive to our needs and constantly looking out to our table to see if we need any assistance. As for the food, we ordered hummus chicken, shish kebab, lamb mandi rice (mix cappadocia mandi), lavash, mushroom soup, tea served in a pot, tabbule and mineral water. Food was absolutely delicious with its authentic taste. Rice was not oily. Lamb and chicken was very tender, which makes it easier for my elderly parents to ear (we were in a group of 5, including 2 elderly). Wonderful service and awesome food. Thanks Ramzi and Cappadocia ~ Mel A
Although a little cosy, we had a blast of a time in the private dining room on the second floor at Cappadocia in Haji Lane. Manager Mr Said had ensured that everything was done perfectly and thoroughly and we even went 2 weeks prior to discuss with him the meal plans for our guests (there was a total of 21 of us). Said had planned the starters, mains and dessert and even brought out my 21st birthday cake as well after keeping it for us. Truly thankful for them for making this a pleasurable and memorable 21st birthday celebration for me, while also working with our intended budget, with amazing food, service and atmosphere/ ambience. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone if they feel like having a more bohemian/ Mediterranean birthday party or celebration dinner. ~ Dhevamitra D
We found this place through trip advisor and reading reviews on Google. It was definitely worth the walk that we had to do to find it as it was one of the further ones on a busy parade of restaurants. I have to say, after visiting Istanbul recently, I wasn't very happy with some of the restaurants we visited there as they didn't provide the sauces that we get in London or even the delicious salads. This place had it all! We were served by a lovely gentleman called Islam, who took good care of us. The kebabs were juicy, flavourful, melt-in-your mouth type (especially the Kofte). It was our first proper meal in Singapore and really enjoyed it. I would definitely return when I come back again and would recommend anyone to try it if your around the area. ~ Ali A
we ordered the hummus, butter naan, and kebab platter, and everything exceeded our expectations. the hummus was creamy and well-seasoned, pairing perfectly with the soft, buttery naan. the kebab platter was flavorful and well-cooked, offering a delightful variety of textures and spices that really stood out. one of the best parts of the experience was how quickly we were seated, there was no waiting time at all which made the evening even more enjoyable. the service was efficient, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. it was definitely a memorable dining experience, and we left feeling satisfied and impressed by both the quality of the food and the smooth service. we will certainly be coming back! ~ Michelle L
I visited Cappadocia Turkish Restaurant in Haji Lane about two years ago, and it was an amazing experience! It was my first trip after the pandemic, and the food was absolutely delicious. I loved everything I ordered, from the sweet, flaky baklava to the generous portion of chicken and rice – so filling! Their signature Turkish yogurt was also a standout. The service was fantastic, and the prices were surprisingly affordable considering the quality and portion sizes. I was lucky to visit during a quieter time, so I was able to enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the restaurant while savoring my meal. The portion sizes were so big that I definitely experienced a carb coma afterward, but it was totally worth it. The food was so tasty, I couldn’t stop eating! Highly recommend this place if you're in the area! ~ jennita n
Brought family to celebrate my mum's 70th birthday... for 9 of us, we ordered 2 Mezze Tabage, Halloumi Shawarma, Shakshuka, Baklava, Mint Tea, Mango Ayran, the Cappadocia Mix Grill Platter for 6 pax. Lynette was kind to take delivery of a swensens ice cream cake earlier in the day. We were initially seated outside but they readily shifted us indoor on request. At the venue, Said arranged everything beautifully. The food and ambience was perfect. The true surprise came when the staff came out full of smiles and played the Turkish percussions when we were ready to cut the cake. They even put on the Turkish hat for my mum. The family enjoyed the evening so much. I've been here before for business lunches and other celebrations. This is the first birthday celebration held here and certainly won't be the last! 2 Thumbs up! ~ LV C
Will definitely come back for more! From start to finish, our experience at Cappadocia Turkish & Mediterranean Restaurant was absolutely fantastic. The food was nothing short of exceptional, but the highlight of the night was definitely the kunefe and the kebab platter. The kebabs were perfectly seasoned, tender, and bursting with flavor, while the kunefe was a heavenly dessert, crispy on the outside and wonderfully gooey on the inside—an absolute must-try! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive and friendly throughout our meal. Whether you're looking for authentic, flavorful dishes or just a great dining experience, I highly recommend giving this place a visit. I can't wait to come back! ~ Delbert J
Everybody should come and taste these wonderful Turkish foods. Especially for foreign people it will be great experience and you will want to come and see Turkey Singapur'a gelen Türk arkadaşlar.
~ Juhong D
I never thought I would find a genuinely authentic Turkish restaurant here at Bussorah Street until I dined here. If you have the same thought as I did that this restaurant could be a tourist trap, I can tell you it isn't. Having returned from Turkeye just a few months ago, every dish that we tried met our expectations in authenticity and taste. The meat are all well marinated by their Turkish chefs, and grilled to the right doneness to retain their flavour and juiciness. I highly recommend you end off your meal with their freshly made kunefe, which you will not regret. A tip will be to bring along more people to dine together so you get to try more items from their extensive menu. I certainly will be back again. ~ AJ Q
The menu showcased a delightful array of Turkish dishes, each prepared with precision and care. The kebabs were succulent, perfectly grilled to achieve that smoky flavor that’s characteristic of the region’s cuisine. The mezes, a delightful introduction to the meal, offered a colorful palette of flavors, from creamy hummus to zesty muhammara. What truly stood out was the attention to detail in preserving the authenticity of the dishes. The use of traditional spices transported me to the bustling markets of Istanbul. The staff, knowledgeable and friendly, guided me through the menu with recommendations that elevated my dining experience. The baklava, a sweet finale to my meal, was an absolute masterpiece. Layers of flaky pastry and rich pistachios soaked in honey made for a decadent treat that left me craving more. ~ Mohd I
I recently visited Cappadocia Turkish Restaurant in Singapore and I must say, it was an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious and authentic. The ambience of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming, making my experience even more enjoyable… The staff were extremely friendly and attentive to our needs, making sure that we were comfortable throughout our meal. I particularly enjoyed their signature lamb kebab which was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth🤤. Overall, I highly recommend Cappadocia Turkish Restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Turkish dining experience in Singapore. The food, ambience and service are all top-notch and I can’t wait to come back again!!! ~ Ahmed G
Absolutely amazing! From the food, to the ambience. This restaurant truly connects with the customer and it’s incredibly pure and wholesome through and through The food was great, I would’ve tried more dishes if I had the appetite for it. Incredibly filling and super tasty! The shawarmas I had were absolutely delicious accompanied by the mango juice which had the right amount of sweetness and had a thick consistency pretty much pairing well with the dish I ordered. Overall food is great! The owner Mr Ahmed, was a gracious host towards us as well as other guests in the restaurant which elevated the experience to a whole new level compared to other restaurants I’ve been to in the past. Would love to comeback here soon! ~ Bill F
Thoroughly enjoyed my dinner at Cappadocia! It's truly the warmth of the restaurant and the people, nice ambience and of course delicious food which made it such a memorable one. If you're new to Turkish cuisine, fret not as they will guide and share with you what to order with their recommendations as per your personal preferences too. My friend and I had lemonade mint (refreshingly good), mezza platter (pair it with lavash bread), mixed cappa kebab, and ended off with kunefe (so cheesy, so good, topped with pistachio bits). The baklava is tasty too! Can't wait to return again as I'm sharing this review and looking at the food photos... PS: Walked past the other day and saw that they were live streaming World Cup too. So if you're looking to catch the matches with good food, it's the perfect time to visit ;) ~ An. D
My Japanese wife found this restaurant in the Japanese community food sharing. We ordered 5-6 dishes, we were so shocked of the portion. Recommendation to have the food in group but the foods were very delicious. The restaurant staff named Mr. Omar was so nice to explain to us that the dessert that we ordered is not available but he let us try their milk rice with pistachio powder! Very yummy and really sweeten our heart! Mr. Omar is a very professional waiter and has a very potential to be a manager. He celebrated with a Turkish birthday song for our next table with a group of young Taiwanese's girls and boys. Mr. Omar sang and dance for the birthday girl. Well done, Mr. Omar! Keep up a good work. ~ Sin T
Had such a wonderful night there. Booked through Chope for my dad’s birthday. Was a bit worried because I couldn’t reach them on the day to confirm but I shouldn’t have. They knew immediately about my booking and sat us immediately. So attentive and the love of their food and culture showed through the way they recommended the food to us and was so happy we loved it. I asked if it was ok if we had a cake from outside and they were more than happy. Even asked us where it was a few minutes later so they could put in the fridge. Put those on the plate with dessert we ordered and had a birthday song going for the atmosphere. Haven’t had such service in a while and it made for a memorable night. Will definitely be back again. ~ Yen-Lyng L
Wife had a craving for hunmus, so we came for the best hummus in singapore. The bread was soft and fluffy and an absolute delish. Serving was huge! We could barely finish the hummus. The chickpea aroma was strong but not overwhelming in the hummus, and the aftertaste kept us going back for more. The kebab meats were fantastic. Every meat was succulent and juice. The hidden gem was the Somon Guvec, a tomato-base dish with salmon as a protein. The gravy was such a hit with my wife and MIL that they ate double their usual portion of rice, using the gravy as a dressing. The wait staff was courteous and friendly and lively. Enjoyable atmosphere. Only thing i would add is air conditioning in light of the recent humid weather. Definitely my to-go place when our hummus cravings hit again. Oh, outdoor seating is pet-friendly. Plus point! ~ Cliff C
Overall had a good experience eating here as I was craving some Mediterranean food. Food: platters were all very good: char, smokey, tender, and juice described the meats. The rice also had good flavor when eaten by itself. The white sauce was a nice way balance the taste. Tip: recommend asking for some lemons for the meats as it helps you eat more. The dipping platter provides one bread so youll probably need to order another one. Service: wasn’t the best as we needed to ask for water, napkins, and some food items didn’t actually arrive. However it also wasn’t on the receipt so they must’ve missed the dish. I think they could step it up in this area but the food makes up for the lack of attention. ~ Tony C
The staff was friendly and made us felt at home. The dishes were flavourful and aromatic. Portions are definitely made for sharing. The charcoal-grilled chicken wings had a smoky flavour while the Meze Tabagi sharing platter served with lavash bread was a delight. It was the first time I tried the Beyti Lamb Kebab dish – ground lamb kebab wrapped in a soft flatbread served with its special house sauce. While I enjoyed it, my main pick would be the Iskender Kebab of sliced lambs served with hot tomato sauce over small pieces of pita bread. The baklava did not disappoint but the Kunefe dessert of thin vermicelli pastry baked in soft cheese and topped with syrup and cream was a gentle crackling joy in the mouth. ~ lio
My husband and I dined here on a Saturday night with another couple. We both grew up in countries with large Turkish communities, so we both really love Turkish food and know what good Turkish food should taste like! We ordered some starters to share and I had the lamb cutlets. The food was really delicious and tasted authentic. The lamb was good quality and tasty. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the waiters were really friendly. They forgot a drink and then gave it to us free of charge. We really enjoyed the delicious Turkish desserts, their kunafe and their rice pudding are both amazing. Turkish food is one of my favourite cuisines and I’m glad I have somewhere good in Singapore to go to when I crave it! ~ Mastiana H
Absolutely loved our experience at this Turkish gem! The moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that felt both authentic and inviting. The food was phenomenal — from the breads to kebabs, every bite was rich in flavor and perfectly seasoned. The kebab platter was a delightful mix of textures and tastes, and the baklava was one of the best we’ve had — crispy, sweet, and not overly syrupy. Service was top-notch — friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. We especially appreciated the thoughtful recommendations. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving real Turkish cuisine. Will definitely be coming back! ~ Ahmed M
Wow, what a delicious restaurant located in the heart of Kampung Glam and well worth a visit. The food full of rich flavor and prepared fresh with not skimping on ingredients. The staff very friendly, attentive and helpful...even the chef helped my wife and I find a table on the inside when we decided we needed some air conditioning for lunch. I wish we had a bigger group to try more of their dishes, but what we ordered was fantastic. Salad really fresh and a generous serving of feta cheese. The atmosphere festive with tables full and everyone enjoying their meal together. You'll pass other similar restaurants entering Kampung Glam...but just maintain your course and make it to this one. ~ John A
